2022 is a year that will challenge every investor, strategist and operations manager. The push and pull of global dynamics put us all in a state of flux and figuring out the strategy for cash won’t be easy. Inflationary pressure, exasperated people looking for a return to normalcy, supply chain challenges, domestically oriented governments and new technology are mixing in ways that we can’t predict. To figure out how to invest for the year ahead we have to understand the three core drivers.

1) The local focus — governments and businesses focused on local jobs, prices and certainty of supply

2) Technology — Retail and infrastructure have more change down the turnpike

3) Human behaviour — Never underestimate our emotions or the power of the herd
